DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO
OLD NORTHWOODS LODGE on the Gunflint Trail

Go to Duluth, Minnesota, on Interstate Hwy 35 or from Wisconsin use Hwy US 53.  As you enter Duluth, follow Hwy 35 / North Shore Dr / Hwy 61.  Follow MN Hwy 61 for 110 miles NE to Grand Marais, Minnesota.

When you start coming into Grand Marais, you will go down a hill into town. Near the bottom of the hill, turn left onto 5th Av W (County Rd 15). Follow 5th Av W (County Rd 15) to the stop sign at the Gunflint Trail (County Rd 12). Turn left onto the Gunflint Trail (County Rd 12). - - You can also get on the Gunflint Trail (County Rd 12) at the east end of Grand Marias by turning off of Hwy 61 onto 6th Av E (shown as "Alternate route").

Stay on the Gunflint Trail for approximately 32 miles until you see the Old Northwoods Lodge sign on the left side of the road.  Turn left just past the sign onto Old Northwoods Loop.

After you turn onto Old Northwoods Loop just follow it until you get to Old Northwoods Lodge
