Each of the 5 cabins at Old Northwoods Lodge are fully modern and newly remodeled, yet they have the cozy rustic feel of a true Northwoods retreat.

From each one of our cabins there is a great view of the Poplar Lake, with a western exposure, which makes for wonderful sunsets. All cabins have knotty pine paneling and the ceilings have log beams.  All cabins also have fireplaces and screen porches with Weber grill and charcoal.  The fully equipped kitchens have new full-size appliances, coffee maker, toaster, paper towels, and dish soap.  The modern bathrooms feature showers and cedar paneling.  Bed linens, towels, coffee maker (with filters), paper towels and dish soap provided.

Cabin guests can of course chose to do their own cooking in their "housekeeping plan" cabin or dine in our Northwoods Bistro and pick from the many fine selections available on our breakfast and dinner menus.

During the cross-country ski season we have Ski Trail Passes for the Central Gunflint (some trails are lighted at night) and Upper Gunflint Trail systems available. Also, on Wednesday nights, guests can enjoy Sleigh Rides. (Advanced reservations required for winter Sleigh Rides.)

We also have Bed & Breakfast Guestrooms

Quiet and private Bed and Breakfast guestrooms are located in the main lodge building. There is a private rear-bridge entrance that goes right to the guestrooms. A full breakfast is included.
